A part of Psalm 119:97 says it like this:
Your words are so choice, so tasty; I prefer them to the best home cooking. With your instruction, I understand life; that's why I hate false propaganda.
Then back a few verses, we see in Psalm 119:17 :
My soul is starved and hungry, ravenous!— insatiable for your nourishing commands.
When we learn and achieve we become hungry for more. Our confidence increases and we enter a zone. That is what happens as we dig into Scripture. There is a 'snowball' effect and God's Spirit in us grows and grows and we are then able to understand Him which helps us to understand who we are in Him!
The Message bears fruit and gets larger and stronger, just as it has in you. From the very first day you heard and recognized the truth of what God is doing, you've been hungry for more.
