In Hebrews 11, we see how the hero's of the Bible lived a life of purpose, a life of faith.
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. Hebrews 11.3. Emphasis Added.
By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family...Hebrews 11.7. Emphasis Added.
All in All, "By Faith..." is stated 24 times in the New International Version...
Faith is HUGE because it is more than just positive thinking or a belief factor, it is the ONLY way to please God...
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." ~ Hebrews 11.6 ~
So here is the homework...Take out a journal and write your "By Faith" statement...Use your name..."By Faith, John Doe......."
